International  Accreditation  through GCE-A 

The CIE  college curriculum  integrates the programmes under the GCE-A   (  General  Certificate of Education – Advanced ) levels of the University  of Cambridge.  This  allows CIE  college  students  to gain direct access to a range of  professional  qualifications and  courses  in the  UK,  Canada, Australia, USA and other  countries in Europe. This  is facilitated through  Cambridge  validation  examinations   for  GCE-A  subjects  in college.

International  Certification in English  Language  through  BEC, CAE, CPE

The  English subjects  in the  CIE college  curriculum  integrates  CPE  ( Certificate of  Proficiency  in English ) ,  CAE ( Certificate in Advanced English )  and  BEC (  Business English Certificate ) programmes  of the  University of  Cambridge ESOL  examinations. BEC  is ideal for preparing for a career in business. It gives  the holder a great advantage in the  global  jobs market .  CAE  is   second highest     Cambridge ESOL             exam.  It  is adequate for most purposes  including professional      situations and in          higher education.  CPE is the highest level of Cambridge ESOL            exams.  It is  ideal if    the student wants to work or study abroad or develop a career     which requires  language skills.   

CIE- GET (  Global Educational  Transfer  )

College students who complete  2  years  at CIE  has the option to complete their 3^rd        ( senior )  year at  Northwood University , USA.   All their  subjects  taken in CIE are   given full          credits in Northwood University .  Students graduate with a U.S.  and    Philippine degree.       Students may choose to enroll in any of  Northwood University’s      three campuses (       Michigan, Texas and  Florida ) .   Transfer to Northwood and visa             requirements  are       processed by CIE and Northwood  and are hassle free. CIE            students  are  exempted        from SAT and TOEFL.  Since  2000, there  are 56  CIE        college  students  who availed of             CIE-GET . Many of them  are  working now in the     USA.

PBL

Problem-Based  Learning (PBL)  is  the part of the CIE  curriculum that  provides opportunity for students to hone their entrepreneurial potential  under the  guidance of           experts and practitioners in entrepreneurship, and a chance to earn their first million          even before they graduate.  The  student  applies  all  the  concepts, theories and      principles taken up in the  classroom by planning and  actually  developing and operating a  business enterprise , using  the Cambridge  project  management  approach.  This is           the  higher education  version of the GOG.
